Bangor Sawmill
About the site
The Bangor Sawmill was a restored 19th-century water-powered turbine lumber sawmill on the Meteghan River. After many years as an interpretive centre, a fire destroyed the sawmill and museum on June 8, 2024. Plans are under way to fundraise and rebuild on-site.
